South Shore Moves!™ is a wellness program through the Community Benefits and Human Resources Departments of South Shore Health System in partnership with A Healthy Balance, Inc.

What is "The Challenge"?

South Shore Moves! Community Challenge is 6 week, wellness challenge designed to get you up and moving!

The challenge within South Shore Moves! is to get 150 minutes per week of moderate to vigorous physical activity and to learn how to live a ahealthier lifestyle.

How Does It Work?

Now that you've decided to particiapte, register for an account. Join here. This is where you will keep track of all your activity points.

The week before the challenge the South Shore Moves! Team will hold a kick-off event where you will meet your coaches, get your S.W.A.G. and earn your first 10 points. Over the next 6 weeks you’ll track your challenge activities and exercise through the South Shore Moves! website.

What kind of challenge activities do we offer?

During the challenge Movers earn points by engaging in physical activity, preventive health care, Facebook coaching, weekly bonus challenges, and community events such as road races, walks and mover meet-ups.


Earn Points and Win Prizes

Earn points through exercising, starting healthy habits, taking on our weekly fitness challenges, and participating in challenge programs.  As if improving your health wasn’t rewarding enough, we are going to be giving out prizes to those who "move the most".
